“Ladies and Gentlemen, coming to the stage is an alternative rock band based out of Washington, D.C. Give it up for Hello World.” The stage darkens. The only thing left to see is lights of amplifiers and keyboard screens illuminating the stage. You find the shadows of Chuck Taylors and Nikes kissing the floorboards and guitar pedals. Harmonics from the guitars start singing. The drumsticks are clicking 4 beats loud to start the conversation between words and hearts, between chords and movement, between Hello World and you.

It starts.

Blaring progressions, dancing toms, and combative rhythms press against your skin, leaving imprints days after. Your feet and arms spring up and down as songs such as; “Ode to Redemption”, “Awakening Tonight”, and “Break” pulsate through your body. We make eye contact throughout the night, getting to know each other more and more. Hello World believes that these songs will impact you, because the songs impact themselves. Written as personal testimonies, each song allows you to see a moment in their life story. Fully vulnerable, Hello World builds a relationship with you. We talk. We laugh. We exchange stories of love through our screams. We exchange passion through the intensity of our claps. We create a haven where you have the freedom to express. G, Nate, Chris, and Marcus yell out “Hello World!” and you respond. G yells, “clap your hands” and you contribute to the man-made rumble piercing your ears. “Sing along with us” is what you were waiting for all night, so you can become a symphony of voices and melodies with the people around you. You and Hello World create an experience to remember.
